Welcome to our Blog!
So many exciting things are happening with the Joly Family! We hope this blog will help us to stay connected with our friends and family as we pursue the ministry work God has us to do. Elisoit and I have been living and working in a remote village called Boucan Lamarre on the island of La Gonave in Haiti. As Kim grew up in such a fast-paced, blessed country as the United States, it’s difficult to imagine places like Boucan Lamarre still exist in the world. This is truly one of those places the bible refers to as the “ends of the earth”. We watched as God did many great things in the time we were there and look forward to hearing more exciting news from this mission about all that God is doing there. Unbelievably, there are still people living in La Gonave who have not had the opportunity to hear of the gospel of Jesus Christ. And for those who have, such as the people within Boucan Lamarre, it is vital for the people of Haiti to learn the importance of biblical living. To live beyond the cultural traditions of the Voodoo beliefs they have grown up with and to live a life according to the Gospel. It is these truths that continue to drive us to do what we do.
